Bowling Bash!

This past week we had Valentine's Day, and our Living Social coupon was released, so it is safe to say we were BUSY!  In between the chocolate covered strawberries, and the awesome discounted cupcakes, Becca was busy making a cake for her best friend (besides me ;) ) Danielle, and husband Dan.  We threw them a joint birthday bowling party, and clearly we needed to have a cake!  So VOILA...becca started hand making bowling balls, and pins and the next thing we knew we had a super fun bowling cake to eat.  I thought I would share it with you all, and give you another tasty treat to think about.

What a sweet haunsbd! I'm not a baker either, love to cook though. I'm sure my haunsbd and his sweet tooth would love for this to change. Can't wait to see the next birthday cakes!

Yep, minakg our own cakes is part of birthdays here too! The birthday celebrant chooses what they'd like and the rest of us make it (or actually, a couple of us make it and the rest lick out the bowl!).[] Reply:February 17th, 2010 at 7:55 pmSo are your cakes beautiful? I love the idea of everyone helping, I'm more of a limit the number of kids in the kitchen type of cook. Usually 2-3 helpers is my max.[]
