October Specials!

Hang on to your seats VSTers, this post is going to make you want to RUN to the bakery!  We have been hard at work, in your name!  Fall is here, and we are diving into the pumpkin patch, and catching the apples falling from the trees right into our pies.  NEW ITEM ALERT, we now have Cinnamon rolls, and Cake Push Pops!!!!  We can't wait to share evertying with you, and the deliciousness can be found in great detail below.

NEW ITEMS!!!!  Cake Push Pops, and Cinnamon Rolls!!!!

Cake Push Pops: Do you remember in the 80's when the flinstones came out with push pops, and we all HAD TO HAVE THEM??  We remember all too well, and we are bringing the 80's back, in a much more modern way.  We are layering them with different flavors of cake, and frosting!!!  We will be offering them at the bakery on a daily basis, as well as pre order for your next event.

Cinnamon Rolls:  Oooooey  Goooooey Cinnamoney delicous cinnamon rolls are flying out of our oven.  We are topping them with all kinds of different toppings.  You can choose from Vanilla Bean glaze, Maple Glaze, or Tart Cream Cheese frosting.  We tested them, and they were approved with flying colors!  Come fast, I have a feeling these will disapper faster then we can lick our fingers.

PUMPKIN:  October means the pumpkin patch is in our kitchen, with fresh pumpkin getting roasted on the daily.  Yes, I said FRESH, we do not use processed canned pumpkin. :)

Cake/Cupcakes:  Your choice of chocolate or vanilla cake filled with fresh pumpkin cream cheese frosting.  (vegan and GF available) *not soy free*

Pie:  Traditional pie crust, filled with fresh spiced pumpkin filling. (GF available)

Pumpkin Bars: Shortbread crust topped with our spiced pumkin puree filling.  AMAZING!

Muffins: Pumpkin muffins with dark chocolate chips all throughout.  Start your morning the right way! (oil free)

APPLES:  Now that the air is nice and crisp, the apples are quick to follow.  We are picking the apples as fast as we can, and throwing them in our desserts.

Cake/Cupcakes:  Vanilla cake filled with cinnamon spiced tart apples, topped with vanilla bean frosting and sprinkled with a kiss more of cinnamon.  (GF available)

Pie:  Traditional pie crust filled to the top with our cinnamon spiced apples, and topped with more delicious flakey crust. (GFAvailable)

Happy FALL!!!  Stay sweet. :)

I think I usually buy Dreyers and someitmes they have it seasonally at Baskin Robbins. I'm sure Trader Joe's will come out with an amazing pumpkin ice cream, especially since I no longer live near one. How I miss that store. I used to shop there weekly when I lived in Southern California but there are none in Florida ridiculous!

It's actually not as hard as it looks Cheyenne. The tuoshegt part for me is always cutting the layers in the cake without turning the whole thing into crumbs LOL. I found a really good bread knife made all the difference in that step. And I'm with you on the pumpkin love

Not sure if it is an issue on my end, but the page did not print properly. It preintd with the numbered pumpkins on the page, but there were random small pumpkins and partial pumpkins preintd all over the page as well. Even when I did a print preview, if didn't look quite right. Again, not sure if the prob is on my end, but I wanted to let you know in case it's not. ;-)

Hey, just wanted to give you a rbgtuaaa tip. If the ground was frozen after they harvested the rbgtuaaa it will have a delicious sweet taste. Judgeing by your sweet puree, it probably means it's good to go. Peel your rbgtuaaas, cut into bite size pieces (or bigger if you're in more of a hurry) and bake the chunks with a bit of olive oil and salt for about 40 min until they are tender. You won't regret it. YUM! Oh speaking of yum, can't wait to try the frittata pizza, it looks incredible!

Thank you to Richard and to Didrik's for hosting such a loevly dinner. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and relaxing. The food was amazing (more on that in the next post). And the place settings and table decorations: modern, clean, and elegant. I think the table would be a great place to host a small dinner party or work function, with food more elegant than you would cook at home.
