September Newsletter

It seems as though our summer is coming to a close and we are heading into the beautiful fall weather.  With the fall weather comes many new events and specials at Vegan Sweet Tooth.

Kosher:  It is official...WE ARE KOSHER!!!!!!  Rebecca and I have worked very hard on becoming Kosher certified and the day is now upon us.  We are excited to be able to offer delicious, animal free kosher desserts to the community.  Please help us celebrate, say the word KOSHER at the counter with your purchase and receive a coupon for a mini cupcake!

Cleveland Magazine:  Vegan Sweet Tooth is a WINNER!  We won a "Best of Cleveland" award from Cleveland Magazine.  We can't tell you which category yet, you will have to read it in the magazine.  But since you are such great fans, you can join us at the party at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Oct 14th, 2011.  You can get a sneek peak of the event at the following link, http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=216404875075004 as well as staying in touch with us for more info.  Thank you to all that nominated us and voted...we couldn't have won without YOU!

SPECIALS:  Seeing how Becca and I were both born in October, five days apart to be exact, we can't wait to jump into the fall specials!!!!

* Apple Pie Cupcake & Cakes:  Vanilla bean cake, filled with Meyer's Rum carmalized tart apples, topped with fall spice frosting, adorned with a cinnamon sprinkle.

* Smore Cupcake:  Chocolate cake filled with extra "marshmellow" frosting, topped with a dark chocolate dipped graham cracker.

Now back to the baking...STAY SWEET!!!!!

**Side note...As of Sept 1, 2011 due to the rising cost of our products, VST will be raising a few of our prices.  We apologize in advance.  **

would love to know where you ate in cleveland. i live here. it can be tough. but i do know what you are saniyg about it being a bit of a fun challenge or game to stay vegan in a town like cleveland. and it is very special to be a part of the change. i made mini vegan, organic, whole wheat carrot cake cupcakes last night and brought them into work today to share with co-workers. it is always fun to see their opinion of what vegan is shift a bit when they taste something vegan and yummy.
