A personal Thank You from Rebecca and Tiffany!
Now that Monday has arrived, I believe that we all have recovered from the awesome-ness of Vegan-Palooza, and all of us at Vegan Sweet Tooth would like to shout from the roof tops... THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone that came to the event, and helped make it such a great day.
Rebecca and I started this vision years ago, not knowing what an amazing group of people from Cleveland would end up being apart of it. Our vision has grown, as well as our friends through opening Vegan Sweet Tooth. We wanted to have Vegan - Palooza as a fun party to spread the word, and some of our vision, and that is how it came about. We work hard, and so do you, and we all deserve a little party time.
When it was 11:30 am on Saturday, I was scared that no one was going to show up, and the event was going to be a flop. That is just me being me, nothing against all of you. I am so happy you all proved me wrong! Not only did you prove me wrong, but you proved that Clevelanders can all get together to have a good time, for a good cause, whether you are a vegan or not a vegan. There is a lot to be said about that!
Through out the day we saw some familiar faces, and some unfamiliar faces, that I hope will soon become more familiar. We got some very good feedback from the cupcake tasting, which VST won...of course ;) But you may be seeing some tweaks to a few things. Thank you to all that participated in the raffle! Through the raffle we raised $440 in honor of the Cleveland Animal Protective League!!!! That money will help a lot of helpless little friends, and help spread a compassionate message one more day. I will be calling raffle winners today, so keep your phone close by.
And in closing, I have to thank all of the amazing business' and people that helped make this event as successful as it was!!!
Eton, Menchies, Tamisen Noyes, Jim Noyes, Gai Russo, Washington Place Bistro, The Powder Room, Johnny Mangoes, Melt Bar and Grilled, Veg News Magazine, Adam Eff, Jak Prints, and Paladr.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!
Now I have to start planning Vegan - Palooza 2013...
