It is official, we had our soft opening, and it was CRAZY!!! Crazy good, but by no means normal. Becca and I opened our doors to the public this past Thursday, and all of a sudden vegans were coming out of the woodwork. We had no idea how busy we were going to be. It was absolutely amazing the amount of support we received from the public, and the Eton family. We were open 18 total hours, and Becca and I literally worked 60 hours in the three days. Baking, mixing, plating, and selling. We are attempting to figure out a good flow for the business, and it is coming together. We couldn't have been able to make it if we didn't have the help from my dad, and Becca's sister Tracy! My dad quickly became our "runner boy", running all over town picking up the little things we forgot to order, while Tracy got her first baking lesson in the kitchen. We put them to work all weekend, and they saved us!!! THANK YOU DAD AND TRACY!
We are introducing our breakfast menu tomorrow, with our power bars, muffins, granola and juice. We are very excited to see what kind of response we get from our foodies with our breakfast treats.
Just to be clear, our hours are...
This week we are going to introduce our MOJITO cupcake. The rain has made my mint plant grow leaps and bounds and you all are going to benefit from it. :)
