Two days and Counting

I don't know about you, but I have been counting down the days until the Crocker Park Farmers Market starts.  You better get your reusable shopping bags ready because we are TWO DAYS out!!!!  We are so excited to be apart of the farmers market, and I wanted to make sure everyone knew that we are going to be there with bells on....or cupcakes....or cookies...or you know what I mean.

We just had a meeting at the bakery, and came up with a list of what we are going to bring, and we can't wait!  We are very excited to meet our west side friends, and be part of the crocker park community.  So get your sun hats, and shopping shoes on friends, lets go to the market!!!  See you there :)

Just wondering if you are there every weekend, and if you have any bakery that is oil free or very low?
Thanks

Thanks, everyone!Curry I wish I could reemmber, but I don't. I need to take better notes next cocktail hour hil yep, just a few marinated white anchovies and butter, plus a pinch of sea salt. I put them in the food processor and blended until smooth! Christina Ugh, that's horrible! We had a similar situation when we were in NY with a farmer we trusted who was less than forthcoming about what he was selling, unfortunately. I don't think we'll have the same problem here, though. We have visited two of the farms we buy from (City Farm and Casey Farm) , and plan to visit more over the course of the summer. We have no reason so far to think we aren't getting the real deal! I think it helps to talk to the farmers, ask a lot of questions, and really get to know them and their product. That's about all you can do aside from growing your own stuff!

Third, if I win I will for sure bring my beautiful fiance. We love to drive down to TGI Fridays in the hotel beside the stadium, and get some grub, then on to the Indians game, and top off with of course the icecream with sprinkles, in the plastic helmet, and then grab a bag of salted unshelled peanuts! Attention of Brian.I have been shopping at Vinces since it was altitle wooden hut! I live just along Mount Albert Road and visit at least 4 times a week.I wish to protest at the decision to make the South entrance,'entrance only'. It is basically cutting off a great deal of the parking lot and causing a lot of seniors who try to patk close to the entrance to have to walk out the northern entrance and then struggle with their groceries in the present winter weather to their cars.It is inconvenient, unfathomable and significantly reduces the pleasure of shopping at Vinces.I was in today and because of this policy I saw at least three couples in their seventies having to turn back then push their trolleys through the snow and slush to their cars. Please reassess this policy.Keith Phillips
